Abstract Sounds is a 6-piece Jazz fusion/Funk band from Cleveland, OH, started by saxophonist Jevaughn Bogard. The band is horn section-driven, with an amazing rhythm section that will keep you out of your seat. The goal for Abstract Sounds is to bring the dance element back to jazz, and they achieve that with their funky grooves and dance club sounds blended with rich and extended harmony that consumes you. Jevaughn has been blessed to share the stage with artists like Aretha Franklin, Tye Tribbett, Kim Burrell, Big Daddy Kane, Benny Golson, Deitrick Haddon, Chick Corea, and many more. Mark Lettieri is a five-time GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist, composer, producer, and instructor based in Fort Worth, TX. He creates acclaimed guitar-based instrumental music, and is a member of leading instrumental bands Snarky Puppy and The Fearless Flyers. As a session musician proficient in a multitude of styles, he has recorded and performed in virtually every genre of popular music with both independent and major-label artists.
